Filey Bay Peat Finish Batch 2 is the second edition of an English whisky finished for a smoky character. It is bottled at 46% ABV. The finish took place in casks that previously held an Islay whisky, which brings the smoke associated with that island. The nose combines delicate peat with ripe fruit, creamy malt and soft vanilla. On the palate the texture is rich, with baked apple, honey, gentle spice and a light smoke that stays in the background. The finish is balanced and lasting, with peat and fruit in step.
