Filey Bay Port Finish Batch 1 is an English single malt from a Yorkshire distillery, bottled at 46% ABV as a special edition.
It was finished in selected Port casks, which add red fruit and a gentle tannic grip to the malt.
The nose offers red fruit, ripe plum and a touch of dark chocolate. The palate is velvety, with candied fruit, salted butter caramel and gentle spice. The finish is long, balancing the winey Port notes against a malty character.
