Finlaggan Red Wine Cask Matured is a single malt Scotch whisky matured in red wine casks, in a 70cl bottle at 46% abv.
The nose combines smoke with sweet red fruit, nuts and a hint of oak vanilla. On the palate a savoury note of smoked meat sits over sweet fruit: plum jam, red grapes, orange marmalade and further berries, all wrapped in earthy peat smoke.
The finish is long, with sweet malt, grape skin and bonfire smoke.
