Here Comes The Flood is a cask strength Australian single malt from Fleurieu Distillery in Goolwa, South Australia. It takes its name from the Peter Gabriel song. The whisky is made from local barley, distilled in copper pot stills and matured in heavily charred Australian red wine casks close to the Southern Ocean. It is bottled unfiltered at 58.7% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The nose brings dark fruit compote, burnt caramel, red liquorice and scorched oak, with a smoky brine beneath. On the palate there is black cherry, molasses, roasted nuts and warm spice, with firm tannin and a juicy mid-palate. The finish is long and drying, with cacao, peppercorn, black tea and a maritime note.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
