Flor del Desierto Sierra Sotol

Flor del Desierto Sierra Sotol is a Mexican sotol made in Madera, in the state of Chihuahua, by master distiller José Armando Fernandez Flores. It is made from Dasylirion wheeleri plants, picked by hand. The plants are cooked in pits heated with oak wood, then crushed with traditional tools. Fermentation takes place in the open air in wooden vats, and the spirit is distilled in copper stills using an artisanal method handed down over time. Sustainable practices are part of how it is made.
