Florio Malvasia delle Lipari is a sweet Sicilian passito from Cantine Florio, a house founded in Marsala in 1833. It is made from Malvasia and Corinto Nero grapes grown on the volcanic soil of the island of Salina.
The wine matures in small oak casks and has a broad, rich structure. On the nose there is honey and Mediterranean herbs such as rosemary and oregano. The palate is sweet, full and soft, with a very persistent finish.
