Formosa Pure Malt 12 Year Old is a blended malt whisky from Formosa Distillery, aged for 12 years.
The nose offers wood spices, vanilla, tangerine peel and hints of stewed cooking apples. The palate is light and honeyed, with warm orange, tangy peels and marmalade on buttered toast, a creamy mouthfeel and a slow build of spice, plus a touch of bitter lemon and grapefruit.
The finish brings orange peel, crystallised pineapple and bitter lemon.
