A Friuli DOC Pinot Grigio Ramato from La di Motte, produced by Botter. A short maceration on the skins gives it a distinctive copper colour, with shades from antique pink to pale orange. The nose has ripe peach and apricot, rosehip and light spice. The palate is fresh and lively, with good acidity balancing the wine's softness, and a lingering mineral note. It suits fish, white meat, fresh cheeses and more structured dishes.
