A red wine from Friuli Venezia Giulia made from Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso. It is produced by Botter under the La di Motte brand.
In the glass it shows a deep ruby colour. The nose brings ripe blackberry and blueberry, with spice, forest floor and cocoa. On the palate the tannins are firm but well integrated, with fruity intensity, freshness and a full body. The finish is long and persistent, with spice and a light mineral touch.
It suits red meat, game and aged cheeses.
