This is Gerston, from The Lost Distilleries range of Scotch whisky, in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV.
The nose combines pear and apple with sea salt, giving a deep, intense bouquet that stays well balanced. On the palate come orange peel, black pepper and dark chocolate, which add sweetness before a very dry finish.
