Giribaldi Conca d'Oro Nebbiolo d'Alba DOC

An organic Nebbiolo from Azienda Agricola Mario Giribaldi, made from a single south-facing vineyard at Conca d'Oro in Montelupo Albese, 380 metres up. The 1.68 hectares of limestone and marl soil are planted only with Nebbiolo. The grapes macerate for 16 days, then the wine rests in stainless steel before maturing in oak casks of 225 to 500 litres and spending five months in bottle. It is ruby red with orange reflections. The nose offers roses, raspberry, vanilla and balsamic notes. The palate is dry, round and full, with young, firm tannins, fruit syrup and cinnamon, and the finish is balanced and long.
