A Girvan from Cadenhead's, distilled in 1991 and matured for 33 years in a Bourbon cask. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. Cadenhead's is described as the oldest independent bottler in Scotland, founded in 1842. The nose brings ginger snaps, grass, toffee and polished oak. The palate is chewy, with brandy snaps, marzipan and carrot cake, and the finish turns to coconut macaroon, orange essence and butterscotch.
