Girvan – Patent Still 25 Year Old (42%)

Girvan Patent Still 25 Year Old is a Scotch single grain whisky from the Girvan distillery, matured for 25 years and bottled at 42%. It was made on a Patent Still, a single column still built for producing grain whisky. The nose offers creamy vanilla, golden caramel, tropical fruit and soft oak. On the palate there are notes of crème brûlée, honey, baked pears and gentle spice. The finish is long and warm, with sweet fruit and lightly toasted oak.
