This is a single malt from the Glasgow distillery, made from malted barley and distilled three times in copper pot stills. The distillery was founded in 2014 and takes its name from an earlier Glasgow distillery with roots in 1770. Water from Loch Katrine is used in the making.
The whisky was matured in virgin oak and is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The nose brings cherry, caramel, toasted almonds, a little liquorice, vanilla and tea leaves. On the palate it is soft and elegant, with ripe pear, toasted vanilla cheesecake and spiced chocolate over a creamy texture. The finish is long and clean, with honey and vanilla.
