Glasgow 6 Years Old Sherry Casks Matured

This six-year-old single malt from The Glasgow Distillery is a collaboration with the Spanish sherry house Ximénez-Spínola. It is Batch 1, made from eight first-fill ex-Bourbon casks. Four of the casks held unpeated malt and were finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. The other four held peated malt and were finished in Medium sherry casks. The two styles are brought together in one bottling. Expect orange citrus, dark fruits and freshly ground coffee, followed by a long, warming finish of sweet smoke and sherry richness.
