Glen Breton 10 Year Old is a Canadian single malt from Glenora Distillery on Cape Breton in Nova Scotia, in a 750ml bottle at 43% ABV. It is made from malted barley and double-distilled in copper pot stills.
The whisky spends ten years in American oak casks, some matured in warehouses set among the distillery's apple orchards. It is the signature expression of the Glen Breton Rare range and won Gold at the World Whisky Awards 2024 and at the 2022 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
The nose is orange, honey and vanilla over milk chocolate. The palate is smooth and malty, with maple, cherry and hazelnut, and the finish brings apple and a little ginger spice.
