Glen Breton 21 Year Old Canadian Single Malt Whisky (75cl, 43%)

Glen Breton 21 Year Old is a Canadian single malt from Glenora Distillery on Cape Breton in Nova Scotia, bottled at 43% in a 750ml bottle. It is the oldest age statement in the Glen Breton Rare range. It is distilled from 100% malted barley in copper pot stills imported from Scotland, then matured for 21 years in ex-bourbon barrels. The casks rest in the distillery's dunnage warehouses and in warehouses set in its own apple orchard. The nose is mature and layered, with rich oak, dried fruit and a little gentle smoke. The palate is smooth, with oak spice, honey and dark fruit over vanilla malt, and the finish is long and warming with spice and wood.
