Glen Breton Aged 15 Years Battle of the Glen Canadian Single Malt Whisky (70cl, 43%)

Battle of the Glen is a 15 year old Canadian single malt from the Glenora distillery, bottled in a limited edition of 4,200 bottles. It refers to the distillery's legal dispute with the Scotch Whisky Association, which held that the word Glen should be reserved for Scotch whisky. The distillery marks its victory in the case with this release. The whisky matured in American oak casks and is bottled at 43%. It won a gold medal from Whisky Magazine in 2011 in the Best Rest of the World single malt category for whiskies of 13 years and over.
