Glen Breton Rare is a 10 year old single malt from Canada, aged in oak barrels. It is made at what is described as North America's first single malt distillery, using water from Maclellan's Brook, which runs down from the Mabou highlands above Glenora distillery.
The nose is medium-bodied and pleasantly fiery, with butterscotch, heather and honey over wood-driven undertones. The finish is long and smooth.
