Glen Elgin – 10 Year Old 2015 Brandy Quarter Cask Claxton's Exclusives (55.6%)

This is a single cask Glen Elgin from Speyside, distilled on 17 September 2015 and bottled on 24 April 2026 by Claxton's after ten years in a brandy quarter cask. It is bottled at a cask strength of 55.6%, without chill filtration or added colouring. The quarter cask is smaller than a standard barrel, which brings the whisky into closer contact with the wood and lets the former brandy cask show clearly. In the glass it is a bright yellow gold. Nose and palate offer ripe fruit with a warming spice. The palate is powerful and pleasantly oily.
