A 10 year old single malt from Glen Elgin, from the 2008 vintage and bottled for Mossburn Distillers at 59% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Mossburn made its first bottling in 2017, beginning with independent bottler malts.
The nose offers cooked pear, melted butter and a whiff of floral barley. On the palate, cinnamon and ginger build over ripe orchard fruit sweetness. The finish is full of honey and greengage, with a lasting tickle of black pepper.
