This is an 11 year old Glen Elgin single malt from The Cooper's Choice range, bottled at 57.6% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in February 2010 and first aged in American oak.
Before bottling in 2021 it spent a finishing period in a Sauternes wine cask, which added fruity sweetness. 312 bottles were released.
The nose is honeyed corn flakes, buttered oatcakes and sweet fruit with vanilla. The palate brings chocolate digestive biscuits, waxed citrus peel, trail mix and peppery notes. The finish has toasted seeded bread with honey, fennel, stone fruits and warming spice.
