This is a 12 year old Speyside single malt from Glen Elgin, a distillery bottling from the 1980s that was made for the export market. For that reason the bottle shows neither a strength nor a size. Old Glen Elgin bottlings of this kind are known for plenty of wax and phenols, together with a dry, mineral and spicy character.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
