Glen Elgin 13 Year Old is a single cask Speyside single malt bottled for the Infrequent Flyers series. It was distilled in June 2008 and matured for 13 years in a re-charred hogshead, cask 805647, before being bottled in 2021/2022 at natural cask strength. The re-charred wood adds depth and intensity to Glen Elgin's fruity spirit, bringing caramelised oak and warming spice. The cask yielded 269 bottles.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
