This is a 13-year-old Glen Elgin from Speyside, distilled in 2009 and bottled in September 2023 by Cadenhead's as part of its Original Collection. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle, without chill filtration and with no added colour.
After its main maturation, the whisky was finished in Manzanilla sherry casks.
On the nose it shows fresh apple, citrus zest, light floral notes, almond and a hint of salt. The palate brings white fruit, soft malt, dry sherry and a light nuttiness, and the finish is medium to long, dry, fresh and slightly mineral.
