This is a 14-year-old Glen Elgin from Speyside, distilled in 2011 and bottled in 2026 by Signatory Vintage at 100 proof, which is 50% ABV. It is edition number 82.
The whisky matured in Oloroso sherry butts and is bottled without chill filtration or added colour.
The nose shows blossom honey, sun-dried raisins and orange, with milk chocolate and a touch of oak spice. The palate is smooth with milk chocolate and a sharp note of ginger, backed by dry oak. The finish is long and spicy, with firm tannins and pepper.
