This Glen Elgin is a 14-year-old Speyside single malt distilled in 2011 and bottled in 2026 by James Eadie. After its first years of maturation in Speyside, it spent 24 months in European Bual Madeira hogsheads. Only 472 bottles were filled.
The nose is juicy peach and ripe berries with the golden sweetness of forest honey. On the palate there are clear notes of pear and berry fruit, with the depth of sherry beneath. The finish is lasting, with fine vanilla and a gentle fruitiness.
