This is a 14 year old Glen Elgin single malt from an independent bottling by James Eadie, distilled in 2011 and bottled at 52.7% ABV. After its main maturation, the whisky spent 24 months finishing in two European Bual Madeira hogsheads. It is a release of 472 bottles, non-chill-filtered and without added colour. The nose is juicy peach and ripe berries with forest honey. On the palate come pear and berry fruits, creamy nuttiness and a sherry-like depth. The finish is long, with fine vanilla and a little fruit.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
