This is a single malt from Glen Elgin in Speyside, distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2026 after 16 years of maturation. It comes in a 70cl bottle at a cask strength of 53.5%.
After its initial maturation the whisky was given a finish in a first fill Amarone cask. It is bottled by Signatory Vintage as part of its Cask Strength Collection, without chill-filtration or added colouring.
The nose shows a range of fruity notes, and the palate carries that fruitiness on with added complexity. The finish is long and intense, with a harmonious close.
