A 16-year-old Speyside single malt from Glen Elgin, distilled in 1998 and bottled in 2014 at 46% ABV by Gordon & MacPhail in its Connoisseurs Choice range.
The whisky matured in refill sherry butts and refill sherry hogsheads. Glen Elgin was founded in 1898 and stands near Elgin. It is also known as a part of the White Horse blend.
Malt, dried fruit, nuts, spice and oak are the flavours associated with this independent bottling, alongside a note of refill sherry.
