This is a single cask Speyside malt from Glen Elgin, distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2021 as the Single Cask Seasons Autumn 2021 release. It was matured in a first fill sherry butt and bottled at 51.2% in a 70cl bottle.
Its fruity, malty base is joined by a clear sherry cask influence, with dark fruit, nuts, caramel and strong oak.
The nose brings raisins, dark berries, toffee, nuts and spices. The palate is dried fruit, caramel, malt, chocolate and spicy oak. The finish is long, dry and led by sherry.
