This is a 14-year-old Glen Elgin from Speyside, distilled in 2011 and bottled by James Eadie in 2026 at a cask strength of 52.7%. It is a limited bottling of 472 bottles, each of 70cl. The whisky had a 24-month finish in two Bual Madeira hogsheads of European oak. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring. The nose is soft and round, with fresh summer fruits, strawberry, raspberry and redcurrant alongside melted butter and icing sugar. Strawberries and strawberry jam lead on the palate, with raspberry pavlova and Italian candied fruits. The finish recalls summer pudding with a squeeze of lemon juice.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
