This is a 12 year old Highland single malt from Glen Garioch, distilled in 2011 and bottled in 2023 by Hunter Laing & Co. for the First Editions series. It matured in a single refill sherry butt, which yielded 66 bottles, and it is bottled without chill-filtration or added colour. The refill sherry cask lets the robust, slightly earthy spirit of the distillery lead. Dried fruits, soft spice, toasted nuts and gentle oak sweetness are the flavours described.
