The whisky was matured in bourbon and sherry casks, and has a presence and character that are hard to overlook.
The nose is honey, floral notes and heather, with pear compote and the sweetness of malted barley. On the palate it is full-flavoured, with malt, honey and pear, soft and creamy. The finish is lingering, spiced and smooth.
