Glen Garioch 17 Year Old 'The Renaissance' 3rd Chapter is the third release in the distillery's Renaissance range. It was matured in ex-sherry and ex-bourbon casks and bottled at 50.8% ABV. The distillery traces its roots to 1797.
Honey, citrus and barley lead the nose, with candied orange peel, chocolate and candyfloss. The palate is spicier, with white pepper, cinnamon and star anise alongside the citrus and chocolate, while malted grain and oak add depth. The finish is big and bold, with oranges and chocolate.
