This is a 19 year old Glen Garioch, a Highland single malt bottled by Living Souls in 2025 from first-fill sherry butts. The distillery is one of Scotland's oldest working distilleries.
It is bottled at 48% ABV, non-chill filtered and of natural colour, in a 70cl bottle. Notes run from preserved plums, dark treacle and tobacco leaf to worn saddle leather, baking spice and roasted nuts, with dried apricot and cocoa. The finish brings walnuts, ginger warmth and a trace of vanilla.
