This is a Glen Garioch Highland single malt, distilled on 24 May 2013 and filled by hand from a single bourbon barrel, number 2403. It is a limited release made in celebration of the Tall Ships Aberdeen 2025 maritime festival.
The whisky matured for 11 years in the barrel and was bottled at a cask strength of 50.7% abv.
The nose offers lemon, lime and summer fruits. The palate is mouthwatering and fruity, with a creamy butteriness and a sweet vanilla note, and the finish carries a gentle spice.
