A miniature of Glen Garioch, bottled in the 1970s as 'A Single Malt Whisky' at 70 Proof (40%). The whisky was distilled sometime in the 1960s, before Suntory took over the distillery, and was slightly peated at that time.
The bottle holds 56ml. The distillery is in Oldmeldrum, Aberdeenshire, and its new spirit has a waxy, tallow-like character that matures into a thick, fat texture, allowing honeyed fruits and heather to emerge.
