Glen Garioch – Renaissance 18 Year Old (70cl)

Glen Garioch Renaissance 18 Year Old is a single malt from the Oldmeldrum distillery near Aberdeen, in a 70cl bottle. It was matured for 18 years in bourbon and sherry barrels and is the fourth and final chapter in the Renaissance series. Glen Garioch has been distilling since 1797, and the Renaissance series began after it reopened in 1997. The whisky is a light golden amber. The nose offers honey, toffee, vanilla and white chocolate. The palate is big and bold, with oaky spices, pepper and cinnamon, followed by a long, smooth finish.
