Glen Garioch Virgin Oak is a single malt from Glen Garioch, in a 70cl bottle. The distillery stands in the market town of Oldmeldrum near Aberdeen and has been making whisky since 1797. It is one of the oldest operating distilleries in Scotland and the most easterly.
This expression is matured in charred new American oak casks and is non-chill-filtered. It is produced in small batches.
The malt is described as having a wholesome maltiness, honeyed sweetness and a creamy texture.
