Glen Garry Finest Scotch Whisky is a blended Scotch from the 1970s, bottled at 40% in a 1 litre bottle by John Hopkins & Co. Ltd. The label states that it was distilled and bottled in Scotland.
The nose is sweet, with caramel, vanilla, wild honey and fresh rolls, then ripe apple, faint candle wax, chalk and a slightly damp old-wood note. The palate is creamy, full and oily, opening with white chocolate, vanilla fudge and toffee before baked apple, pear, dried fruit and a touch of mature sherry. The finish is medium to long, with dry apple pie, warm spice, old wood, citrus peel and a dark chocolate bitterness.
