Glen Garry Finest Scotch Whisky is a blended Scotch from the 1970s, bottled at 40% in a 75cl bottle by John Hopkins & Co. Ltd. The label states that it was distilled and bottled in Scotland.
The nose is rich, sweet and malty, with caramel, vanilla and dense honey, then red apple, fresh bread and muffins, over candle wax, damp old wood, chalk and a hint of herbal tobacco. The palate is creamy, soft and medium-bodied, with baked apple and cinnamon, vanilla fudge, white chocolate and sweet wholegrain cereal. The finish is medium to long, warm and slightly herbal, with apple pie, caramel and a little dry spice.
