Glen Moray – 12 Year Old 2013/2026 Gordon & MacPhail Spirit of Scotland 1st Fill Sherry Hogshead

This is a single cask Glen Moray from Speyside, bottled by Gordon & MacPhail in its Spirit of Scotland range. The whisky has matured for twelve years since 2013 in a first fill sherry hogshead, cask 2848, and 306 bottles were filled in 2026. On the nose there is Seville orange peel, roasted hazelnuts and blackcurrant. The palate shows sweet berries, vanilla and Morello cherries, leading to a long, spicy finish with black pepper.
