Glen Moray 12 Year Old Smoky is a single malt distilled from peated barley malt and matured in select American and European oak casks. It is bottled at 46.3% in a 70cl bottle.
The smoke is sweet, with bonfire hints threaded through fruit and spice. The nose has gentle smoke over vanilla and orchard fruits, lightly touched by spice. Caramelised apples and baked plums meet peaty undertones and hints of oak on the palate. The finish is long, with fruit fading into bonfire embers and oak tannins.
