This is a single cask Glen Moray from Speyside, distilled on 31 December 2007 and matured for over 15 years in a first-fill bourbon barrel, cask 1609. It was bottled on 29 November 2023 at cask strength, 55.6% ABV, without chill-filtering or added colour. The outturn is 199 bottles.
The nose offers vanilla, green apples, gooseberries, honey, corn flakes, sweet pastry, butterscotch and bubblegum. The palate is oily and mineral, with malt, brioche, vanilla custard, caramel and liquid bubblegum. The finish is long and creamy, balancing sweetness with gentle spice.
