This single cask Glen Moray was distilled on 21 November 2007 and matured in a first fill bourbon barrel, cask 5698. Best Dram bottled it on 12 November 2024 at cask strength, filling 198 bottles with natural colour and no chill-filtration.
The nose offers freshly baked shortbread, stewed fruit and oats, with green grapes, honeydew melon and a little citrus zest. On the palate heather and floral touches come through alongside growing fruit and a gentle fruit sweetness. The finish is medium in length and lightly spiced, leaving a restrained fruit sweetness behind.
