A Speyside single malt from Glen Moray, aged for 18 years entirely in American oak and part of the distillery's Heritage Collection. It is bottled at 47.2% ABV in a 750ml bottle, without chill filtration.
The spirit goes into first-fill casks that have not previously held single malt, and the colour is antique gold.
The nose is toasted oak with treacle toffee and caramelised autumn fruits. On the palate come baked spiced apple and vanilla-smoked raisins. The finish is long, as sweetness and spice fade to a light smokiness and toasted oak.
