This is a Speyside single malt from Glen Moray, matured first in American oak and then finished for several months in port casks from Porto Cruz.
The port casks give the whisky its rosy tint, along with rich fruit and soft wine notes. It is bottled at 40% in a 75cl bottle.
The nose brings toasted vanilla, light oak and rich dried fruits. On the palate there is a refreshing spice with a citrus lemon tang, then caramelised sweetness and cinnamon. The finish is sweet and mellow, with wine and toasted oak.
