A 16 year old Speyside single malt from Glen Moray, bottled by Wm Cadenhead in its Original Collection series. It was distilled in 2007, matured in bourbon casks and bottled in May 2024 at 46% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
Ripe banana and foam banana sweets lead the nose, with light muscovado sugar, walnuts and icing sugar. The palate brings crème brûlée, white chocolate and vanilla sponge, with a few musty notes. The finish turns to cocoa powder, cinnamon sticks and a hotter spice.
