This is an 18 year old Speyside single malt from Glen Moray, part of its Elgin Heritage range. It was bottled from first-fill American oak casks, which give it plenty of vanilla character.
On the nose there is juicy apricot and yellow plum with a honey glaze. The palate opens with earthy vanilla, followed closely by a hint of lavender and sultanas. The finish carries ginger and cinnamon.
